On Divine Mercy Sunday, April 27, Popes John XXIII and John Paul II will be canonized in Rome, and the Archdiocese of Vancouver will  celebrate in a big way! Everyone is invited to our canonization celebration at PNE’s Pacific Coliseum.

Schedule of the Day

12:30 pm Grand Procession participants to arrive at PNE Coliseum
  2:00 pm Grand Procession begins
  2:30 pm Divine Mercy Chaplet with Combined Divine Mercy Choir
  3:00 pm Mass



  • Mass with Apostolic Nuncio, Archbishop Miller, Bishop Ken Nowakowski, and concelebrating clergy
  • Combined Divine Mercy Choir
  • 250-300 member combined High School Choirs led by Jeff Cabralda and students from nine Catholic High Schools
  • Participation of Seminarians from Seminary of Christ the King, Knights of Columbus, Serra Club, Catholic Women’s League, Movements and more.

Veneration of Relics

There will be opportunity to see and venerate rare objects before and after Mass: St. Faustina, John Paul II filigree monstrance, and John XXIII fabric and piece of clothing.

Two Popes

coded according to deanery, with a special colour for those in the Grand Process or participating from the Floor Section.



Special parking rate of $10.00 per car; buses park for free.
