RITE OF ACCEPTANCE AND WELCOMING
Please pray for our catechumens and candidates in RCIA
On November 27th at the 9am Mass, we celebrate the acceptance of Lampson Leung, Jane Huang, Bernice Mai, Priscilla Yee, Alex Chow, Chiamei Hsiao, Siauhwa Ong, Ping Li, Vicky Xiao, Kenny Wu, Constance Yee, Maria Chan, Karen Chow, and Sharon Wong into the Order of Catechumens. We also welcome baptized candidates Tiffany Choi and Miju Kim.
Assembling publicly for the first time, the candidates who have completed the period of the inquiry declare their intention to the Church and the Church in turn, carrying out its apostolic mission, accepts and welcomes them as persons who intend to become its full members. God showers his grace on the candidates, since the celebration manifests their desire publicly and marks their reception and first consecration by the Church.

STEWARDSHIP REFLECTIONS
“For you do not know on which day your Lord will come.” Matthew 24:42
People who have had health issues or neardeath experiences generally have a greater appreciation for each day being a gift from God. The rest of us usually take for granted that we will be around tomorrow. But when you start to look at each day as a gift, you realize all the little miracles that happen daily and grow in gratitude for all that we have been given.
