Dear Parishioners,

May all of you still be in good spirit.

In this Sunday's readings, we see how the promises of the Lord Jesus were fulfilled in His apostles who loved Him by keeping His commandments.

After receiving the Holy Spirit, as promised by the Lord, they are full with the Spirit to heal the sick and cast of the demon as Philip did; moreover, Peter, from his own experience, advised us to sanctify Christ as our Lord in our hearts by keeping the words of Christ in our heart and clear conscience so when the opportunity come, we share our own experience with Lord to someone who needs to know the Lord in gentleness and reverence.

Peter also reminded us not be discouraged when our testimony is not accepted as he did experienced it in order to purify our flesh so we can live with the guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Soon, we will celebrate the Pentecost, let us surrender our selves to the Holy Spirit, just like when the wind blows us, we don't know where we will end up so the same with the Holy Spirit, for sure the end is heaven, our destiny

Sincerely in Christ,

Fr Nicolas

STEWARDSHIP REFLECTIONS

"For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that be God's will, than for doing evil." (1 Peter 3:17)

The old line says "if you want to make God laugh, tell him your plans."

Many of us are diligent in our planning and making sure things are progressing smoothly. Then disaster strikes, we don't get the result that was intended or an unforeseen problem arises. Many times we may respond negatively and ask, "Why me? I did everything right!" Here's the thing – adversity humbles us and reminds us of our dependence on God and not on our own selfreliance.

Rest assured, God has a better plan in store for you.
