Church Doesn’t Stop

Dear friend in Christ,
First, please allow me to apologize if you’re receiving this email more than once. At this critical time, we are simply trying to reach as many people as possible with the latest information available regarding the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on people in the Archdiocese of Vancouver. Please feel free to share this with others in your parish.

During this difficult time it’s helpful to remember that our “Church doesn’t stop.” While carefully adhering to all public health recommendations, we are continuing to share the Gospel and provide critical support to our most impacted people. In addition to broadcasting services on-line and helping members pray in unison, The Door Is Open is feeding more people than ever on the Downtown Eastside and our Men’s Hostel is housing and feeding more than 125 men each night. There are dozens of outreach programs in parishes and beyond that continue to require our support in this time of great need.
