We have our women’s group, the Catholic Women’s League.

The Catholic Women’s League (CWL) has something for every woman in the parish and in Canada. Things have changed for women since the league’s inception in 1920 and the CWL has been right there all along. We’re all about family and caring for others! We do fundraising to support local, national or international charities and fight for social issues that affect all Canadians. Come share your skills and talents with us. You may find yourself surprised at how richly rewarded you will be in return. Check the bulletin board and the parish bulletin for future meeting dates and times. The CWL president is ready to provide more information and is always happy to welcome new members.

The Catholic Women’s League of Canada was organized nationally on June 17, 1920 and granted federal incorporation on December 12, 1923. The League is officially recognized by the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) as a lay association of women and is affiliated with the World Union of Catholic Women’s Organizations (WUCWO), a world-wide federation holding membership in the conference of International Catholic Organizations (ICO) and having consultative status with agencies of the United Nations.
