The Couples for Christ (abbreviated as CFC) is an international Catholic lay ecclesial movement whose goal is to renew and strengthen Christian family life and values. It is led by an International Council, which operates in the Philippines under the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines and can report directly to the Vatican. The community is made up of family ministries, social arms, and a pro-life ministry.
It is God’s plan that they family the basic unit of society. However there are many forces in the world today that threaten to destroy the very foundation of the family. CFC wants to rise in defence of the family which is God’s work. CFC wants to bring God’s strength and light to those who are struggling to be truly christian families in the modern world.
The Handmaids of the Lord is an all women ministry of the Couple for Christ. It aims at providing Christian support for personal renewal. By sharing in the gifts of the Holy Spirit, the members grow as witness to the Faith through continuing conversion, service and evangelization work.
