PREP / Parish Religious Education Program

“Another means to acquire knowledge is never to lose a moment of time. Time, my dear sons, is precious. Devote to your studies all the time you are assigned for them.”
– St. John Bosco

prepThe PREP program provides religious instruction for children in the public schools from grades one to seven. It is a seven year program.
The program incorporates the two sacraments that complete the initiation process i.e.
– First Holy Communion (FHC) in PREP
– Confirmation in PREP 7

PREP stands for Parish Religious Education Program. This program for grades K to 12 offers education in the Faith to children not attending Catholic school. This program also creates a Catholic atmosphere for its students where they learn the Faith and are prepared for First Confession, First Communion and Confirmation.

Meeting : every Wednesday at 6.30 pm at the OLM Elementary school
Classes are held every Wednesday from September to June in the evening from 6.30 to 7.45 pm. Each level of PREP has a catechist, along with assistants. The program is run by volunteers.
